Out Of The Mouths Of Babes
Kids are hilarious! The things my children say, the things they do, the little moments keep me going.
Alexander is learning to walk/stand/climb all within a few days of turning 1 year old! I. AM. EXHAUSTED 🤣 he wants to do everything on his own and does NOT want help for any reason. He is bound and determined he is going to keep up with his big siblings. I see his determination and want to encourage him but also don't want him to fall. It's a delicate line. Encouraging kids to be strong adults is HARD. I feel like I am failing.
Scarlett loves to inspect her toes and fingers after a bath. "Look momma I'm a mermaid!" she says every time she has pruned skin!
Every night lately during bedtime prayers Scarlett asks that we pray for her friend Fernanda and frequently the kids ask about what grandpa is doing in Heaven. Tonight we talked about if heaven has a kitchen and if grandpa can build things again. As I was talking with the kids nearly in tears of missing my dad but proud of them for retaining knowledge of the Bible.
Isaac upon finishing his chicken and fries "oooh, my tummy is getting nice and warm now". Isaac loves to dance and he has got amazing rythem to the beat of the music I am amazed he can keep up and I pray he can continue to use it as a form of his worship.
Ava seeing KFC bag coming inside with daddy for our dinner, "NO WAY ITS KFC LOOK ITS THE GUY FACE ON THE BAG!!!"
We all had a good giggle at that one.
Ava is growing up much too fast and really cares for her younger siblings. She has such a loving heart and has a servant heart.
