Don't step out recklessly and call it faith

Yesterday I heard a fabulous message preached by an amazing young woman about listening to God and going when you are called. Don't step out recklessly and call it faith.
How often do we want to skip paying a bill in favor of going on a spending spree, or eating dinner at a fancy place out of town because God will provide the finances we need to eventually pay that bill. Nope, don't live like that! Don't step out recklessly and call it faith. Does God give us or wants and desires, yes. Does God provide for our needs, YES absolutely; however, when we act foolish/reckless/ or sinfully we will have to pay the consequences of our own actions.
There has been many times when God provided the resources for my family to take care of issues and we weren't wise with those resources and paid the price,  but in the end life is full of chances. God will never give up on you, never cease to be right there to take us back every time we walk away or run towards the sinful behavior. The enemy wants us to fail, he will set and watch and just at the moment you are weakest he rises whispering in your ear what a terrible person you are and how nobody including Godcould ever love you. My friend, the devil is a liar and a jerk!
1,000 times over I fail at something, slip away and do stupid stuff but even though I fail and continue to try and fail I feel God's presence in church, heavy on my hands as I worship and in my bones as I feel the spirit taking away the pain and tension in my body.
