Working on a small business

March of 2021 I started making bracelets and keychains and trying to sell them along with my mom's craft booths. I have made many improvements along the way and learned a lot about what needs to be done to make it look proper. I am still learning new things every time I sit down to work but I am having fun and actually making some money here and there. I have gone from this dragon bracelet, with somewhat crude closures

To this mobile with a much cleaner look and my confidence is growing as I go!

I am making morse code beaded bracelets, necklaces, earrings, suncatchers and many more items. So far it seems my morse code bracelets are my best sellers!
Jewelry making has been a way to release stress and calm my mind through some chaotic days. I have made items for my kids, for friends and family members too.

Every time we go to a different show it comes with a theme from the customers purchases. Some shows we sell a ton of suncatchers, others we sell a lot of earrings and some even necklaces. Each show has its own theme for the weekend, but the customers always favorb1 thing per show, its fun to watch. The days leading up to every show are always busy with lots of time in the "bead room" and filling up totes with merchandise to sell and buble wrapping breakable items. The night before we load up the car with many many totes and display racks then we arrive about 3 hours before the show begins so we have time to set everything up. The set up is always the hardest part, we usually have a very tight space to work in and then we rearrange things to make them look just right before everyone arrives.
This was an Easter event we did and I was so surprised with how much room we had for our booth! Not many sales at the event but the venue was absolutely gorgeous and there was so many talented vendors we still had a good time.

These are some of the many items I have made over the last 2 years.

These are some bronze earrings that I made with fish hook posts. I am loving the look of these bronze charms.

Here is a bottle opener keychain I did, I have made several of these but haven't had much interest in any of them. I may recycle the beads and charms and toss the bottle openers,  we shall see!

This was a whimsical idea I tried. Mini glass bottles full of charms or beads. These were so fun to make and I did so many different designs with them all. I was able to make a whole box in 2 days time.
